Dawson's Creek star Kerr Smith was left red-faced at a Karaoke bar when he was upstaged by an 'N-Sync singer.

The hunky actor, who plays teenager Jack in the angst-ridden show, took to the stage on a drunken night out to sing Alive by Pearl Jam.

He says, "I thought we were pretty cool. But guess who got up next? One of the dudes from 'N-Sync and Carmen Electra. We were like, 'OK, our karaoke reign is over. We suck. Time to leave.'"
